PDF tools and templates for freelancers
Freelancers can fill and sign contracts, invoices and NDAs in PDFinish, then merge and shrink the files to send to clients. The templates are free, the tools run in your browser, and the annual plan works out to $2 a month.
Contract templates give general information only. They are not legal or tax advice. Check your local rules or ask a lawyer or accountant before you rely on one.

Pricing that fits a freelance budget
Start free: 2 tasks a day with no account, 10 with a free account. Many freelancers never need more.
If you send documents most weeks, the annual plan is $24 a year, which is $2 a month. Monthly is $2.99. Both cancel in one click, and we email you before each renewal.
Prefer to pay once? The Lifetime founder deal is $50, limited to 500 seats, and covers all current and future Pro features. Sending documents for signature will be a separate add-on and is not included.
Send a contract to a client to sign: coming later
Today you can sign your own copy of a contract. We are building a way to send a contract to a client and have them sign online. It will be a paid add-on, and it is not ready yet. Join the waitlist and we will email you once, when it opens.

Questions, answered
Are the contract templates legal or tax advice?
No. They are general-purpose starting points. Laws and tax rules vary by place and by situation. Check your local rules, or ask a lawyer or an accountant, before you rely on one.
Can my client sign through PDFinish?
Not yet. You can sign your own copy now. Sending a contract for a client to sign is a planned paid add-on, and the waitlist on this page is how you hear first.
What does it cost if I send a few documents a month?
The free plan allows 2 tasks a day with no account and 10 with a free account. If you want no limits, the annual plan is $24, which is $2 a month.
Do my clients' documents get uploaded?
No. Most tools run in your browser, so the file stays on your device. The exceptions are Word, Excel and PowerPoint to PDF, which upload the file to our server and delete it when the conversion finishes. The page tells you before you start.
How do I send a big PDF by email?
Open Compress PDF, add the file and pick Basic or Strong compression. If you are sending several documents, merge them into one PDF first, then compress it.
Can I put my signature on an invoice or quote?
Yes. Fill in the template, then open Sign PDF to draw or type your signature and place it where you want it.
