PDFinish

Editorial policy

Every PDFinish page is written by the PDFinish team in our own words, checked against how the tools really behave, and shows the date it was last updated. We re-check facts on a schedule and fix mistakes openly.

Last updated:

How pages are written

  • The first sentences under a heading answer the question in the heading. Steps, details and questions follow.
  • We write original text. We may study other sites to see what people look for, but we never copy their wording.
  • Guides are written for people who handle paperwork as part of their work. We use plain words and short sentences.
  • We have no AI features in the product. Our pages describe what the tools do, and we test the steps we describe.

How facts are checked

  • Statements about PDFinish (limits, prices, what runs in your browser) come from the same settings the product uses, so a page cannot drift from the real plan.
  • Comparisons with other products use only facts we can verify from their public pages, are dated, and keep the source on file. We describe other products fairly and never imply they endorse us.
  • Pages that touch legal or tax topics give general information only, say that they are not legal or tax advice, and point you to local rules or a professional. We do not advise on any specific filing.

How often we re-check

  • Tool pages: whenever a tool changes, and at least once a quarter.
  • Comparison and alternatives pages: every month, because other products change their plans.
  • Guides and templates: at least twice a year, and sooner when a reader reports a problem.
  • Each page shows a “Last updated” date, and we change it only when the content changes.

Corrections

If you spot something wrong, email hello@pdfinish.com. We fix confirmed errors quickly and update the date on the page.
