Common questions
How do I move a page in a PDF?
Drag its thumbnail to a new spot. If you would rather not drag, use the arrow buttons under the page to move it one place at a time.
Can I delete or turn pages here too?
Yes. You can remove pages and turn them while you reorder, then save once. Delete PDF Pages and Rotate PDF do the same jobs on their own.
Will my page order be saved in the file I download?
Yes. The new file has the pages in the order shown on screen. Your original file stays as it was.
Why are some thumbnails slow to appear?
Thumbnails load as you scroll to them, which keeps long documents from freezing the page. Large scans take a moment each.
Is my file uploaded when I use Organize PDF?
No. Pages are drawn and rearranged in your browser. The file is not sent to our servers.
Is Organize PDF free, and are there limits?
You can use it free. Without an account you get 2 tasks a day, and a free account (just an email address) raises that to 10. Free files can be up to 50 MB. Pro removes the daily limit and allows files up to 500 MB. We check the limits before a task starts, so a finished file is never held back.
Does Organize PDF work on my phone?
Yes. It works in the browser on a phone or tablet. Use the arrow buttons under each page if dragging is fiddly on a small screen.
