Request signatures
Request Signatures will let you send a PDF to someone and have them sign it in their browser. It is a paid add-on we are still building, and you can join the waitlist to hear first.
We're building Request Signatures
Request Signatures is a later, paid add-on. Join the waitlist and we will email you once when it opens.
What Request Signatures will do
- Send a PDF to one or more people for signature, by email link.
- Let each signer sign in their browser, with no account needed.
- Keep an audit trail that records who signed and when.
- Send the completed copy to everyone involved.
How it will work
- 1
Upload and add signers
Choose a PDF, add the people who need to sign, and mark where they sign.
- 2
Signers sign in their browser
Each person gets a link by email, opens the document and signs. They do not need an account.
- 3
An audit trail is kept
A record shows who signed and when.
- 4
Everyone gets the finished copy
When the last person signs, the completed PDF goes to you and to each signer.
Common questions
When will Request Signatures open?
We do not have a date to promise, so we will not make one up. The waitlist is how you will hear first, and we will email you once.
How much will it cost?
We have not set the price. It will be a separate paid add-on and will not be included in Pro or in the Lifetime deal. We will publish the price before you are asked to pay.
Is a PDFinish signature legally binding?
Whether an electronic signature is accepted depends on the document and the rules where you and the signer are. This is general information, not legal or tax advice. Check your local rules or ask a professional.
Can I sign a document myself today?
Yes. Sign PDF lets you draw, type or upload your signature and place it on a PDF in your browser. It is free to start and your file stays on your device.
Why does this one need our servers?
Sending a document to another person means it has to reach them somewhere. Our other tools keep your file on your device, and this one cannot. We will tell you before you send anything.
What will you do with my email address?
We will use it to tell you when Request Signatures opens, and for nothing else about this list. Details are in our privacy page, which is still a draft.
