How many PDFs can I merge at once?
The tool does not set a number limit. The practical limit is your device's memory, so a very large merge can be slow on a phone. Each file can be up to 50 MB on the free plan and 500 MB with Pro.
Does merging make the pages blurry or change the text?
No. Pages are copied across as they are, not turned into pictures, so text stays sharp and you can still select and search it. Bookmarks and internal links from the original files may not carry over.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Unlock it first with Unlock PDF, using the password you were given. Then add the unlocked copy here. Your original file stays as it was.
Can I combine photos or scans with my PDFs?
Yes, in two steps. Turn the pictures into a PDF with JPG to PDF, then merge that file with the rest.
Is my file uploaded when I use Merge PDF?
No. Your files are read and joined in your browser. The file is not sent to our servers.
