Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Choose Picture and pick a PNG or JPG. A PNG with a see-through background works best.
Can the watermark go on only some pages?
Yes. Choose which pages to mark, or mark them all.
How do I make the watermark faint enough to read the page?
Lower the opacity. A low setting gives you a light mark that does not hide the text underneath.
Can someone remove the watermark?
A watermark is a visual mark, not a lock. It is drawn onto the page, but a determined person with editing tools may cover or remove it. If you need to limit who can open the file, use Protect PDF as well.
Does a long watermark fit on the page?
Yes. Long text on a centered watermark shrinks so it stays on the page.
Is my file uploaded when I use Watermark PDF?
No. Your pages and watermark are drawn in your browser. The file is not sent to our servers.
Is Watermark PDF free, and are there limits?
You can use it free. Without an account you get 2 tasks a day, and a free account (just an email address) raises that to 10. Free files can be up to 50 MB.
