Common questions

Does a PNG with a see-through background work?

Yes. Transparent areas are kept, and they show the white page behind them.

Can I turn several screenshots into one PDF?

Yes. Add them all, put them in the order you want, and each becomes a page in one file.

Will my screenshots get blurry?

No. PNG images are placed in the PDF without being re-encoded, so they keep their original sharpness.

What page size should I use?

Fit to image gives each page the shape of its picture, which is best for screenshots. A4 and US Letter are better if you plan to print.

Can I mix PNG and JPG files?

Yes. You can add PNG, JPG and WebP files together in one PDF.

Is my file uploaded when I use PNG to PDF?

No. Your images are placed into the PDF in your browser. The file is not sent to our servers.

Is PNG to PDF free, and are there limits?

You can use it free. Without an account you get 2 tasks a day, and a free account (just an email address) raises that to 10. Free files can be up to 50 MB. Pro removes the daily limit and allows files up to 500 MB. We check the limits before a task starts, so a finished file is never held back.
