Acrobat is the standard professional tool, and its paid plans cost more than most casual users want to pay. On its pricing page, Acrobat Standard starts at US$14.99 a month on an annual plan, and Pro at US$19.99 a month.

Can PDFinish edit the text in a PDF?
Not directly. You can add new text on top of the page and cover old text with Whiteout, but the original text stays in the file underneath.
